Uchinuki-Leisurely walking paths
JR Iyo-Saijo Station 1.JR Iyo-Saijo Station

Uchinuki is available at a monument on the platform and a drinking fountain near the bus stop in front of the station. You can see three types of ceramic plates on the sidewalk, on which there are pictures drawn of uchinuki, Clean Stream Kamogawa River, and Saijo Festival.

Saijo Cultural Center 2.Saijo Cultural Center

A drinking fountain providing uchinuki is placed near the fountain of the Aquatopia River System on the west side of Saijo City Cultural Center. Many people visit the Center from in and out of the City.

The Aquatopia River System is located at the center of the city, providing chances to enjoy scenic attractions along the river system including a fire fly area, aquatic stage, waterfront deck, and walkway. You can enjoy walking along the clean stream.

The moat shows signs of the ages from when the city flourished as a castle town. You can enjoy the genteel appearance with carp and ducks swimming in the moat, and flowering trees and shrubs of each season along the bank, which make the moat a recreational area for citizens providing scenery matching with the waterfront.

Kobosui 5.Kobosui

Kobosui refers to sweet water springing forth from the sea. Excellent sweet water, this water is sanctified by Kobo Daishi according to an ancient tradition, and springs forth from the point in the sea into which the Honjin River flows.

Uchinuki Square 6.Uchinuki Square

This square was established in commemoration of uchinuki being selected as one of the 100 best spring waters of Japan. It is located on the south of City Hall, complete with a commemorative stone monument and uchinuki pool providing drinking water.

There is a monument symbolizing the city as a water city and a drinking fountain providing uchinuki on the sidewalk around where the street and the shopping arcade intersect.
