Ishizuchi Fureai no Sato

■Ishizuchi Fureai no Sato

If you head for Ishizuchi Ropeway from the Kamogawa Bridge, you will see Ishizuchi Fureai No Sato along the river just after passing Kurose Dam. It is used for summer camping and training activities.

Setayama Hiking Course

■Setayama Hiking Course

This is an easy 1.5 km hiking course starting from Setayakushi Temple leading up to the top. In the inner sanctuary of the temple on the way to the top, there is a sculpture of a dragon carved by Hidari Jingoro, a famous sculptor, according to tradition.

Visitors can command a panoramic view of the urban area and enjoy the Seaside Forest and Adventure Field as well as bird watching in close contact with nature. At the Archeological Museum established as an annex, excavated articles from inside the city are exhibited.
