■Hondani Hot Springs

Hondani Hot Springs is noted as one of the three major hot springs in the Iyo area along with Dogo Hot Springs in Matsuyama and Nibukawa Hot Spring in Tamagawa. It has been known as an excellent hot spring area since the old times. The hot spring water is classified as hypotonic alkaline mineral water, which is effective for neuralgic pain, arthritic pain, poor circulation, chronic gynecological problems, and chronic skin diseases.

<Hondani Park>
This park is next to Hondani Hot Spring Hall along the babbling stream of the Daimyojin River. The seasonally blooming trees and flowers will warm the hearts of visitors. The facilities include a square where children can play in the water, waterwheels, and camping grounds.

National Park Resort Village Setouchi-Toyo is located along the Setouchi coastal line with white sand and green pine trees in the northwestern part of Shikoku Island, which is connected to the Sanyo Expressway via the Shimanamikaido. The main building, which is on a hill 60 meters above sea level, has all its rooms facing the sea. Visitors can enjoy their holidays while viewing a variety of scenery below, including the Sakurai Beach, which has been selected as one of the hundred most excellent coasts of Japan, and the beauty of Setouchi Archipelago, as well as the grand view of Mt.Isizuchi Mountain from the main entrance hall.

Isizuchiyama Hot Springs ■Isizuchiyama Hot Springs

This hot spring is located below the boarding point for the Ishizuchi Mountain Trail Aerial Cableway. The milky hot spring with bubbles of sulfur floating on the surface is classified as a hydrogen carbonate cool mineral spa. Ishizuchi Mountain Hot Spring enjoys a good reputation as a treatment spa for eczema.

Located very close to Ishizuchi Shrine and Maegami Temple, people going on pilgrimages also visit the spa to relieve the weariness of their journey. There are two bathhouses, one built Japanese style and the other Western style. Both bathhouses alternate daily between being open for men and women. Stay two days and you can try both.
