Koonji Temple (No.61) ■Koonji Temple (No.61)

This very old temple is said to have been built by Prince Shotoku so as to pray for Emperor Yomei's recovery from illness. Later Kobodaishi designated the temple as a holy place with four wishes: safe birth, child rearing, vicariousness, and woman's entering into Nirvana.

Kichijoji Temple (No.63) ■Kichijoji Temple (No.63)

A pilgrim who has finished worshiping may begin walking towards an accomplishment stone located at the front of the main hall of the temple. Then, with eyes closed, he or she must walk forwards with the Kongo walking stick held straight out at waist level. It is said that if the stick goes through the hole of the stone your wish will come true.
