In case of damage and defacement of a certificate |

When an alien registration card is damaged or defaced, the holder is required to apply for reissuance. Please make sure to make an application when reissuance is needed.
Those reaching the age of 16 (within 30 days of their 16th birthday), or those who are 16 years old or older, are required to apply for confirmation of registered matters and to renew the alien registration card on the 5th birthday following the first registration, (7th birthday for permanent resident or special permanent residency status holder) unless otherwise specified.* Alien registration card and two photos are required.
