1. Making the phone call
Be calm while making the phone call.
Inform of the fact that you see a fire and of the location of the fire. Inform of landmarks, if any exist, to help ensure the location of the fire.
2. Informing others immediately
Inform other people loudly by all means. Cry "Kajida" and inform the family and neighbors, and dial 119 and ask for other people's assistance to extinguish the fire.
3. Extinguishing fire early Early fire fighting is vital. Early fire fighting means making an effort to extinguish the fire immediately after the fire breaks out, before it can reach the ceiling. If the fire gets to the ceiling, evacuate immediately because it will become too dangerous.
4. Making an early escape
Don't waste time to make an escape! Smoke is the most deadly part of a fire. Because smoke contains poisonous gas in large quantities, if you breath it in, you may lose consciousness. If you are surrounded by smoke, to avoid inhaling it stay low and put a handkerchief or towel over your nose while escaping.
